Books On Sell

Books On Sale

I have never sold or given away a single book. Every book I read somehow becomes an intellectual extension of myself. However, in recent years I am buying and reading books at such speed, that, over time, they completely occupied my two gigantic bookshelves and half of my floor. I decided that, before they extend their way to the whole floor,I have to sell some of them.

On some of the books, I highlighted a few lines and scribbled some notes, but most of them are still like new.

I am mainly accepting payments through PayPal. If you would like to make payments in other ways, please feel free to drop me a line to discuss it.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the books you receive, please do not hesitate to send them back, and I will refund you the money for the book and the shipping cost.

1. Generic Programming and the STL

Generic Programming and the STL by Matthew H.Austern is one of the authoritative STL book around. It not only tells you how to use STL, but also illustrates concept-based programming -- an alternative to traditional OO design, and how STL is built on top of it.

If you merely want to learn how to use STL, this book is overkill -- the online help of most C++ package will suffice. However, if you want to understand the design essence of STL, extend it, or write concept-based reusable library of your own, this book is for you.
